I'm sure everyone knows by now in this day and age that Dragon Ball originally started as a manga created by mangaka Akira Toriyama, also known for his other works such as Dr. Slump, Sand Land, and Cowa! to name just a few. In serialization from 1984-1995, Dragon Ball has been since adapted into several other forms of media.
